Conflict of Interest

The "Ecological Safety and Balanced Use of Resources" is committed to ensuring objectivity and integrity in the editorial process. Authors, reviewers, and editors are therefore required to disclose any circumstances that might compromise their independence or impartiality.

When submitting a manuscript, authors must declare all potential conflicts of interest, whether financial (such as employment, fees, patents, or involvement in companies) or non-financial (including personal relationships, academic competition, ideological or religious beliefs). This information will be published as a separate note at the end of the article. If no conflicts exist, the note will state “None”.

Reviewers are expected to inform the editorial office of any factors that could prevent them from providing an objective assessment of a manuscript. These may include academic competition, financial or personal ties with the authors, or any other personal interest. If a conflict is identified, the reviewer must decline the review.

Editors must not take part in decision-making on manuscripts where personal, professional, or financial links with the authors are present. They must also recuse themselves from evaluating papers authored by their colleagues or co-authors. In such cases, the manuscript is reassigned to another editor or an independent expert.

Declaration of conflicts of interest: Details of conflicts of interest are always published at the end of each article in the form of a dedicated note. This practice ensures transparency of the editorial process, sustains reader trust, and upholds the integrity of scientific communication.
