The scientific journal “Ecological Safety and Balanced Use of Resources” is a peer-reviewed professional publication dedicated to addressing current issues in environmental protection, technogenic and ecological safety, and the rational use of natural resources. The journal publishes original scientific articles, results of applied research, as well as materials on management and innovation activities in the field of environmental protection. The aim of the journal is to promote the development of scientific research in the field of ecological safety and to create an open platform for productive communication between researchers, practitioners, and policymakers.

Starting from Vol. 14, No. 2, 2023, the Editorial Board has narrowed the journal’s scientific scope. Currently, the journal covers the following priority areas: fundamental environmental studies; regional and global environmental challenges; ecology and environmental protection; environmental issues of the oil and gas sector; technogenic and industrial safety; issues of sustainable use of resources; environmental protection technologies; environmental monitoring, forecasting, and assessment; ecological aspects of renewable energy development; environmental challenges related to tourism and recreational activities; geodetic and land management research (works, surveys) aimed at ensuring ecological safety and balanced resource use.
