Research of electromagnetic field within the urban system of Ivano-Frankivsk

Tamara Kundelska, Kateryna Dzudzylo
Abstract

The article presents the measurements results of the electromagnetic radiation levels of industrial frequency within the urban system of Ivano-Frankivsk, namely in Pasichna district, which includes 8 of Ukraine, the main objects of electromagnetic radiation in the studied area were identified. The streets: Horbachevskoho, Fedkovycha, Vilna, Zavodska, Halytska, Khimikiv, Trolleibusna, Yulian Tselevych. Suburban areas were also studied – Vovchynets village, where 4 routes were passed, including Vovchynetsky hill, Pidhirnyi lane, and the following streets: Vovchynetska, Melnyk, Lisova, Vysochana, Haideia, Haiova (dam), Luhova, Shevchenko, Zhyvopysna. With the help of visual inspection and public cadastral map authors present the method of measuring the levels of electromagnetic radiation and the results of further processing of the measured indicators. Based on the presented results, the maps and graphs of the distribution of electromagnetic radiation levels within a certain area are developed, according to which the maximum values of electromagnetic field strength levels are determined. Domestic legal bases for assessing the impact of electromagnetic radiation within urban areas are provided. It is determined that according to the Law "On Ensuring Sanitary and Epidemic Welfare of the Population" it is necessary to comply with state sanitary norms and rules that determine the maximum allowable levels of electromagnetic field strength and sanitary protection zones in urban development. The measurements results of the electromagnetic field strength of industrial frequency are compared based on the compliance with the requirements of state sanitary norms and regulations
